SUMMARY:Pets & the Afterlife Presentation 2024
DESCRIPTION:Ever wonder if your pets are with you in the afterlife? \nJoin us at LRHS for a special presentation at LRHS by Author\, Medium\, and Paranormal Investigator\, Rob Gutro.  \nRob will discuss how to cope with grief after losing a beloved pet. Participants will learn how pets can send signals to the living and wait for us in the hereafter. Rob shares scientific studies which indicate that pets have emotions and personalities. He identifies the signs they give us and the science behind why some pets can sense entities. By the end of the talk\, you’ll be more aware of how pets can communicate so you can find the signs from your own pets in spirit. Book signing to follow. \nAll proceeds generated by Rob’s presentation will be used to care for our shelter pets in need. Space is limited to 25 people. Payments are non-refundable. \nCLICK HERE TO PAY & REGISTER OR CALL 603-539-1077 \nMany thanks to Rob Gutro for volunteering his time for the pets! \nMeet Rob: Author\, Medium\, Paranormal Investigator\n\nRob Gutro is an author\, paranormal investigator and medium with Inspired Ghost Tracking of Maryland. He’s become known as a pet medium\, although he communicate with pets and people who have passed. Since he was a child he could receive messages from ghosts or spirits (who have crossed over).  As a scientist\, he also provides some scientific explanations about how energy is the baseline for the afterlife and the medium that entities use to communicate. \nClick to visit Rob’s Website

SUMMARY:#GivingTuesday
DESCRIPTION:What is #GivingTuesday? \n#GivingTuesday (Nov. 29\, 2022) is an international online day of giving held annually on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. \n\nLRHS is thrilled to participate again to raise funding for the 350+ cats and dogs who turn to us annually for medical care\, nourishment\, shelter\, and new homes.\n\n\n\n\n\nCami (below) was hit by a car just two weeks ago. Her owners could not afford the surgery needed to save her so the good folks at the The Kindness Animal Hospital sent her our way. We worked with them to get her the medical care she needed. She is making a strong recovery while reviving around the clock care in her loving foster home. Your gift today will ensure pets like sweet Cami live long and happy lives. \n\n\n\n\nCLICK HERE TO DONATE\n\n\nA brief history of LRHS: For nearly 30 years LRHS welcomed pets with nowhere else to turn and provided them with medical care\, shelter\, enrichment and nourishment until suitable new homes can be found. Our team of expert animal care technicians assist adopters in finding compatible pets and guide folks through the growing pains of pet ownership. LRHS is a source of free pet food and supplies for owners who need extra help\, including local Meals on Wheels participants. Thanks to a partnership with Chris’ Hero Pups\, LRHS facilitates the adoption of cats and dogs to active or retired military personnel free of charge! \n\n\n\n\n\n
